How long is the housing program?
The housing program is 12 months long. At the
end of the 12 Months tenants are expected to
find adequate housing someplace else or they
can rent the unit in which they are currently
living.
Who qualifies for housing?
Any homeless family living in a shelter or other
shelter like situation is eligible to apply.
Applicants must be working or actively seeking
Employment. Applicant must also be willing to
Submit to a background check and a series of
interviews.
Does Helping Home Foundation provide
emergency housing?
No, Helping Home Foundation Inc. does not
provide emergency housing.
How can I apply?
Simply click on the Tenants tab, fill out the
application completely and submit. Someone
will contact you when there is an opening for
housing.
How are the tenants chosen?
Tenants are chosen based on need,
employment status, and the ability to save
money and take care of a property responsibly.
How can I become an approved Landlord?
Simply click on the Landlords tab, fill out the
application completely and submit. You can also
upload pictures if desired. Landlords will be
called on a first come first serve basis when
there is a need in that area. If the property is
vacant and there is an interest in the family
needing housing then an inspection will be
performed. A non-refundable fee of $50 is due
at the time of inspection.
