Helping Home Foundation INC. Is a nonprofit organization that provides quality interim housing for homeless families in the Metro Atlanta area.

We pay a standard fair market rent for each unit selected in a onetime lump sum payment. We include a non-refundable security deposit and a 10% maintenance allowance. We encourage all selected Landlords to pay up the mortgage for the full year term if applicable. All landlords are required to sign an agreement with Helping Home Foundation INC. as well as a 12 month lease with the families selected to occupy the units.

As a landlord, you have the final say so in the selection process and we encourage you to have a written set of rules and regulations for the tenants. We will also provide the tenants with your contact information. If any disputes should arise, both parties must agree to arbitration with Helping Home Foundation INC. prior to seeking legal council.

Helping Home Foundation INC. will only pay for 12 months of housing for each family. If they wish to stay longer than the allotted 12 month period, they are responsible for negotiating the terms of their new lease and for payment of their rent. Helping Home Foundation INC. does not provide month to month housing. Any Landlord that defaults on a mortgage loan and goes into foreclosure will be responsible for refunding the unused portion of the prepaid rent back to Helping Home Foundation INC. Helping Home Foundation INC. will take legal action to recover these funds. If any landlord sells their property prior to the termination of the 12 month lease, he or she is responsible for forwarding any and all monies to the new Landlord.

If a tenant is evicted for violation of their lease or any of the terms and conditions set forth by Helping Home Foundation INC., a new family will be selected to finish out the remainder of the lease. Helping Home Foundation INC. reserves the right to make any changes in the pay schedule i.e. paying on a month to month basis. If pay is deemed to be month to month in lieu of lump sum, the security deposit and first months rent will be paid at the signing of the lease or move in date which ever is later. All move ins or lease signing that occur after the 1st day of the month will be prorated. Rents will be paid no later that the 5th of each month thereafter.
